Samurai Katana
Hi you all
This is a model that I've created, 100% original. The total size of the katana is around 120cm.
The blade is around 10mm thick so it has some meat and some rigidity. It also have holes to accommodate a 4mm steal rode in every peaces of the blade and connecting the blade to the handle.
This model it's fully 3D printed in an FDM or in resin, the files available are FDM ready.
I recommend print them upwards for better print quality and no supports are needed. All the pieces are interlocked for better aliment, for the you need to have at least 0.4mm tolerance on your printer so the pieces can fit well one with another.
I'm also in the processes of creating a Saya and a stand for the blade, so keep an eye for them in the near future.
